Laurus the School of Excellence is truly the second home for its students! It is the most important path of a journey during which the ignorants are transformed into intellectuals! During this period of transformation, students are given every possible opportunity to showcase their talents, nurturing their abilities.
Laurus is indeed one of the best schools. It tries to impart knowledge not just by teaching but by giving space for the students to think, question, research and experiment, under proper guidance from teachers. This builds and develops the confidence of the students. Just as a seedling requires a sufficient amount of sunlight, air and CO2 to grow into a useful tree, students also need to be equipped with sufficient encouragement, information and stages to grow into intelligent, responsible and good citizens.

The pandemic has hit all walks of life! School, Students and Teachers too are no exception! Yet our teachers faced the challenges of the new system of education and succeeded in making the students enjoy the learning…. Seriously, which is our very motto! Every important day was celebrated. Students were given sufficient information about the day and guided to live that day!
The word ‘Competition’ has a magical effect on the minds of both students and parents. Drawing, Colouring, Painting, Elocution, Essay Writing, Singing, Dance, Debate, 2 minute acts, plays, were a few competitions conducted online on various occasions like festivals and important days.
The most interesting part for students is to exhibit their talent and understanding of the concepts in their way using the waste material at its best!
The one platform where all the students participate to showcase their efforts is Science Fair! Laurus has successfully conducted the science fair online, for the year 2020 – 2021 in which students from grades 1 to 8 participated. They displayed the working models with explanations and charts wherever necessary.
It is equally important for the students to understand the government, its functions, the ruling, making of laws and its procedure. Our Grade 7 and 8 students were given proper information and encouraged to participate in a mock parliament session successfully!
Art Education was integrated with the regular curriculum and activities were taken up to gain the knowledge of our rich culture and tradition!
Laurus also believes that though the teaching is made interesting with so many activities, teachers too need to cherish some of their past moments from their regular, responsible schedule which helps them to rejuvenate themselves! So teachers entertain the students acting as students on Children’s Day like how students enact as teachers on Teachers Day!
